2015 is set to be an exciting year for new futuristic gadgets and smartphones. What are some of these technologies coming next year and how will they affect us?
Nissan Motor Co. will market cars with autonomous driving capabilities by the end of 2016, making it the first Japanese automaker to offer a detailed timetable for the release of such advanced self-driving technologies.
Nissan President Carlos Ghosn announced on July 17 the automaker’s schedule for rolling out its first-generation automatic driving vehicles for public use at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan in Tokyo. The details are the first since Nissan announced its plans last year to commercialize autonomous cars by 2020.
According to the timetable, Nissan will first launch by the end of 2016 two types of autonomous cars that are each capable of safe, same-lane driving on congested highways and can park themselves by the simple press of a button.
